[FS] MyProxySite.com - fantastic proxy, PR5, big traffic

I purchased this site a few months ago, and I just don't have the server resources or hon to run it.

My Proxy Site

Domain is registered at namecheap.com, and expires February 1, 2007. It currently has a whois guard on it, let me know, and I would be happy to take screenshot of the domain in my account for you. Free transfer to your namecheap account.

The domain is currently a PR5, and has an alexa of 94,959 for the last week. Traffic has been rising considerably since I purchased it, and now shows over 1,000 uniques per day. The proxy was inactive for several months, I activated it once I got it on my server. Traffic growth has been spectacular, and should continue to grow. I have posted traffic shots below, please let me know if you need anything further. Check out the page views per unique, this site is just begging to be monitized.

The site really isn't set up to make money as well as it can. With adding adversal to the site, it could easliy make $5 - $15 per day with current traffic (this is based off of conversations I have had with proxy owners with similar traffic stats who currently run adversal, I didn't just pull this number out of my back side). I just don't have the time or inclination to add it. I currently have adsense on the front page. I have attached some shots, it made $23.96 in September and $20.91 so far in October.

Please note, this is a rescouce hog. For October, it has used 44G of Bandwidth. September, it was 43G total for the month.

Please note that the links on the front pages do not have to stay. There is one link, the Cheap iPods one that will need to stay. I will disclose details to the new owner about that link. I have not sold any links on the site.

Starting bid is $150, there is no reserve. All bids must be made on the forum, I will not accept PM bids. Payment will be by paypal. This auction will end exactly 48 hours from this post. If there is a bid made within the last hour of the auction, the auction will then extend automatically to end one hour after the last bid is made, and will continue to do so until no bids are made for one hour. I will try to keep an eye on this as the auction is ending so there is no confusion.

Site must be moved off of my server as soon as possible after the sale. I will give the winner cpanel access to the server, and will help move the site if needed.

BIN: $1,500 - please, no complaints. If you don't want to pay the BIN, just bid along with everyone else.

I will try to update the adsense tonight, just to keep everyone up to date.

Unique users yesterday was 1,288 with 263,007 page views, by far the biggest day yet. Today looks to be even better, 710 unique so far!

What proxy script is it using? PHProxy, CGI Proxy or another?

 

The site runs PHProxy.

In addition, the old owner wrote additional code over the phproxy code, in order to track every user request and the ip that requested it. It also allows to set the maximum requests per ip per time frame. All this is additional modules he wrote.
