Article submission never really worked for me either and I did article submissions for a major.com. the problem is most peole syndicating from these article sites are people who are spammers. SPAMMERS!!!! that is whorable backlinks. The best advice you can take from this is to make your articles truly news worthy and try to get them picked up by newspaper sites. Use these tools to check the quality of these sites as well.
*cough* you have just spammed this forum with that link for the past 10 minutes - this is now the 6th thread I have spotted.
ACtually I am posting comments that are viable and helpful. And its not spamming its called internet marketing. Get your facts straight.
Well my facts are straight and on here it is seen as spamming. If it wasnt seen as spam the mod wouldnt have edited your posts to remove the link Also, going into a sales thread where someone was selling a submitting service and posting your link as a better option was a low move and is what I would call "agressive internet marketing" against another DP member.
When a service is corrupt, a scam or something that is underhanded like marketing myspace. That is unethical. I have no problem going in there and giving unsuspecting victims a heads up. Do you know what a link farm is? If you did you would understand that putting 1000 links up on myspace could get you banned from google and devalue your site. My post's where not banned for spamming as you can see they are still present and so am I. They did remove a footer which in my opinion was unjust because I was pointing to tools that could help these people. One thing I hate is people who post before they know what they are speaking about. The facts are I gave very USEFUL information with a link to USEFUL tools. If you dont like it then leave this post.
No the posts were not banned because of spamming and as I said before they were edited because of spamming - banning and editing are different. If you really think it was unjust for the editing then contact the owner of DP and I am sure he'll let you know the rules. As for the rant on link farms I really dont know how that popped into your head.
Brandon, that means people will place link with your site in it to other site, which represents collection of sites divided by industries.
