I am trying to put in the name server for my host... But it keeps trying to make my domain a nameserver..

namecheap is nothing like godaddy which i am used to.. Maybe someone could guide me through the process?

    Thank you,

All you have to do is go to Transfer DNS to Webhost and put in the new nameservers.

what you are trying to do is use the "register name servers" you use the "DOMAIN NAME SERVER setup" 2nd from the top.

I'm in the process of the same thing. How long did it take for your host to update the DNS?

    it happens at times..

namecheap is slow in changing ns's godaddy is pretty quick and so is domainsite..

also it depends on where you are...i mean how fast the NS propogates...also your webhost...
