It will disappear just as fast as it came there :)
I've never had any success with froogle. They putted in my store a few days and dropped it a few days later..

As a buyer froogle is actually pretty good. It helped me get some stuff for about half off some of the better known places like amazon.com .

Trial and error, I have froogle running for several sites and it is very good with rankings on the google search above the google results!

You have to resubmit your xml file every month or else they remove it. They tell you that up-front.

I have had my products on Froogle steady for over a year.

You have to reload your feed once a month or you will
be dropped, did you forget to read the instructions?:D

Actually, after having my products on Froogle for 18 months
I forgot to refresh a couple of months ago and my products
disappeared completely. So now we have a procedure to
    renew every Friday.

I have had my products listed on Froogle since my site's inception, with great results. I had previous experience with using Froogle for a company I used to work for. I have only seen great results, and have found that many shoppers are now using Froogle to find my products - and they are coming to my site to purchase. You have to upload your xml often, or it will be deleted from the index. I am constantly adding products, making price changes, etc., so I update my feed at least once or twice a week. I would say Froogle can be an asset to anyone, who sells online. Though the key to Froogle success can be that you must have a product that users are looking for. I find that many of my visitors, who used Froogle to find my site, are looking for a product BY NAME; not just a general product search.

Also, as a user, I always comparison shop with Froogle.

I 100% agree, if you're selling something a customer is looking for, in particular branded goods froogle works very well.

Another good thing, as TDC said about the google search results. If you're selling at a competitive price, your products have a better chance of being listed above the main google results. And in my case greatly improved my sales after setting up froogle :D

    Regards

You can try and sell domains in froogle but it is not a great outlet for that. I would suggest GD’s tdnam.com and other after market sites where the buyers are.

I think Froogle is a good way to get your name known, and every customer you get to find your store, could be a potential paying customer either now or in the future (if they bookmark it for later because they liked what they saw)- we have been using it for only a week and had a couple of sales from it, but we are in a niche market (every sale counts though!!) so don't expect much from t other than hopefully letting people know we are here :D
