Should you submit to Froogle and Google Base?

Does listings in froogle and google base impact search results in any way?

Not sure what you "do" online. But, if you have a retail site, then you should definitely submit a feed for that site to Froogle. We do a bunch of sales these days from Froogle listings. If you are lucky, Google will throw them on SERPs for product searches.

aren't they both pretty much same? Base seems more flexible though. I don't really know how froogle functions.

I feel some good effects. Although not in backlink or Pr but some changes in serps.

Not 100% sure but have seen some signs.

You submit your feed or upload individually in google base to be listed on froogle. And listing in froogle doesn't effect search results.

you upload your store feed via google base and the products show on froogle, it does affect your serps as froogle can show specific items at the top of the search result, i have seen this for my site serveral times but overall i get very little referals from them.

We had to recode our Froogle Feed and had to start using Google Base attributes instead of the old Froogle ones. We now upload to base which puts our products in froogle.

    This link might help.
