Frontpage is user friendly and best for those who want to learn the basics of webpage designing. But as you progress in knowledge about it, somehow you'll find yourself exploring for more developments on web technologies being used nowadays. Using all the things you've learned from the very start simultaneously trying those updated tools in web programming, you'll realize that it's proper to use dreamweaver in order to get that professional look in your website. Indeed, a sterling quality website will be produced. :)

I agree with the guy that said people that use notepad like to waste time...

(or even if they don't, they end up wasting time anyways)

but I guess there are somethings you could do in notepad you couldn't do in dreamweaver quicker? .... Naah.

I used frontpage when I started. Now im using Dreamweaver sometimes, when I feel like being lazy.

    Mostly I use: www.crimsoneditor.com

It's like notepad, but better :)

I used to use FrontPage but the code it created was horrible. Now I'm a big fan of Dreamweaver and rarely have to edit the code myself as compared to FP where you have to almost rewrite the whole fu**ing thing after making a page.

Begginers and intermediate users use FrontPage/Dreamweaver. Experts use a text editor.

Dreamweaver mostly if its something like making a new site from scratch which is simple. Notepad if it starts to go complicated,
