My step mother did a site with a frontpage template and she edits it in frontpage and whatever. We'll she tells me yesterday she needs he site in google when you search for blah. We'll i did a site for her the first time without frontpage and it was getting decent rankings but then she wanted it to look the way she wanted it too, so she redose it and wounders why it isnt in the search engine. I geusse she thinks getting into the search engine is a giving, if it was a giving their would be alot more rich people in the world and im not talking you. Anyway so im going to redue the code and make it look like she wants it with good code and good optimization, but should i cut the frontpage code out? What makes it so bad for seo?
I edit many of my sites with frontpage and dont have any trouble with google. My code isnt the cleanest but im in google with no trouble. Some of the default templated in frontpage are pretty crappy and many use frames which can be awful for SEO purposes. You should just setup the site the way she wants it and make it simple enough that she can update it with frontpage. Using frontpage shouldnt be a problem.
