    btw i found this thread after googling for similar problem - .htaccess conflict with joomla 1.5 vs expression web 3.0

    my solution? (wireshark helped)

    add this line:

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/(_vti_bin|_private)/.*$

    before the RewriteRule's
