I've added big feed image, and an animated gif. Below the feed image I put "get latest update", and below the animated gif I put "Stop!!! See Editor's Best Pick Post". Is this a good idea?

Do you have the example url? It sounds like a good call to action. Website visitors like to be directed to where they should click.

Oh...I found the example url. I really don't like that big feed image. You are drawing all of their attention to your feed, which isn't your most important element.

The URL is http://www.smallwebsitehost.com. I'm trying to increase my feed subscription. But I think since I put that big feed and remove the number of subscription, the number of people who read the feed went down. What do you think the animated gif?

Hm, I think the animated .gif looks kinda "noobie". I mean, the RSS feed definitely is big enough that a small little GIF wont make a difference (I don't think).

To be honest, I think your whole site has way too many advertisements on the homepage as well. Is quite confusing.
