Front end designer/coder is needed for a web-based project.

    requirements:
    • PERFECT knowledge of CSS
    • PERFECT knowledge of HTML clean coding (ideally, must be able to write a 100% cross-browser compatible html using notepad only)
    • PERFECT knowledge of javascript on jquery framework. Must have a large arsenal of front-end fancy techniques such as accordion-ing, things like jquery data table, event handlings, etc. to create fancy-looking presentation of large data or large input forms.
    • Basic knowledge of PHP. (You will be using small PHP snippets inside the pages to parse the variables (arrays) that our server-side script throws into the template, and make nice tables out of those arrays.)
    • Good graphical taste to find solutions in non-standard situations
    • IMPORTANT: High Availability!! You should be available trough IM during most of working day in US.

If you are a perfect graphic designer and that's about all about you, then you probably don't fit.

The job will mostly involve CSS design with very few actual images. Will also include large amount of javascript effects.

The project is NOT a public website, so there's no need of fancy graphics to attract customers or something. The project is a web application for specific industry

The project involves large amount of huge forms which need to become interactive (such as filling one field may trigger another field to appear or disappear, etc). Your job however will be the visual design part of that "appearing or disappearing" (such as making it scroll up, or giving other effect on disappear), not the interaction logic itself.

Currently our MVC system's controller simply spits out the output variables onto the view layer (usually in forms of arrays). You should be able to take those PHP variables and construct the page out of them. If you know what "Smarty templating engine" is you'll find yourself very familiar with this situation (although we use PHP's syntax in the templates, not the Smarty's, but the logic is almost identical).

Job term will be per hour. We will be giving you separate jobs (such as "take this page and make render properly with this-and-that given variables).

The job is very long term, it's a huge project with constant improvements and additions. Is one of those "endless" projects.

If you are interested PM me with following:
    • Some details about you, where are you located (timezone), what kind of project did you do, etc.
    • desired pricing
    • availability schedule
