I am planning to register a domain, but I am in confusion from where to register it. So i need your help guys.
Is there any problem if I registered domain name from the local company that are near to me or should I register it through godaddy only? If I registered my domain from local company will I be able to transfer it to other company in future? If I had to transfer it what do I need? My friend told me that I need domain key to transfer the domain name.

Hey there Regex |>|?\-/|\/|-]§)-( ROFLMAO!

There shouldn't be any problem if you register domain name from the local company or godaddy. If the register in question is ICANN accredited (icann.org/../../accredited-list) All registers (including resellers) offer an authority key to transfer to another register as part of their domain handling protocol. That being said though I've only come to grief with one register (Estidomains) with 3 LLLL.com's. Generally I stick with the top 100 list of ICANN accredited global registers just to be on the safe side.
