It depends how you want to do it. I agree. Guest posting works great. You have to put it some efforts in order to identify the right blogs and get your articles published on them however you can get fantastic results through it.

 

Be active on forums and social websites..

You should create your blog posts on the hot trending topics as per your industry, make your title to the top human search queries and write unique valuable content. When users search for that specific queries then your blog post will come up in the SERP's. You wont have to do any offpage or linkbiulding activity for your blog if you can rank on the top searched queries in this way.

Please can someone explain for me the difference between on-page and off-page seo optimization? Coz I recently saw this video on YouTube, talking about seo and pagination.

 

Onpage SEO is all about working on the back end of the website i.e: SEO elements, html coding (Meta tags), creating keywords rich web-copy(content/ headings) and integrating Google webmaster/analytic tools to the website, while the Offpage is generating backlinks for your website by posting/sharing high quality and relevant content with your targeted audience
