From The Top of the Burj

    Now see this stuff………………….
    This is taken from world's tallest building "Burj Dubai" @ 2,620 ft / 801m!!!

    What do you think guys…………………

    Really amazing

    Look at the edge (uppermost right corner) of the picture, you can almost see the turn of the earth

    The persons who are working on the upper most Girders can see the "ROTATION OF EARTH"

    So terrifying…..

    Beautiful pics, but you'll never catch me up there, I'm afraid of heights and just looking at those pictures makes my toes hurt.

    The pictures are definitely awesome but I doubt you can see the rotating earth from such an height...

    Actually, the second photo is totally lying - you can't see that much curvature in the horizon from that height. If you actually download the photo and look at its properties, you'll find that it was taken with an ultra-wide fisheye lens (Nikon) at focal length 10mm (35mm is closest to normal vision). This is closer to what it actually looks like to the human eye, though it's not perfect:

    Apologies for the black spots; it's a quick edit, and I had to leave them in so you could see the horizon. I wouldn't be surprised if the first photo was correct though. Scary!
