I know that IPs are tracked, and you can get banned for multiple accounts... But here's a question... I'm thinking about moving from my apartment, and sharing a house with a buddy... I've been trying to get him to take a more active role in getting traffic to his website, so he's got an account here... If I do move, and we share his connection, will we be banned? I've heard there are others here, like siblings, that both have accounts, do they need special permission? Thanks
I have a doup account mod for my vbulletin and it does more than just look at your IP. My members are fine as long as they use different computers. I assume DP might run something similar to catch people with more than one account.
yeh im not sure how you would stand on this one. best thnig to do would be to PM a mod and ask them about it.
