Hi Guys, Stephen from England here. I'm going to spend the rest of my life making a lot of money in Internet marketing and more importantly, having lots and lots of fun and meeting new friends along the way. If any of you guys want to hook up with me to make this world a happier place - just drop me a private message or respond to this thread. I know i sound a little hypey but i am a manic depressive - who has realised that to make me happy, i've got to do what my heart tells me to do. Rather than what my brain is telling me i cannot and should not do. I used to be very rich and then i lost it and then i lost the will to bother. But i am back again.... Watch this space and hello and good luck to everybody!!!
Hey Stephen, Well done for getting back up and having another go at it Battling depression is hard work Good luck, Let me know if there's anything I can help you with. Cheers, p.
Thanks p, I can only liken depression to hanging feet-tied by a rope (body bound by a straight jacket) to a crane, whilst it uses your head to smash anything in your way. Very scarey place indeed. Some call it existential depression. Anyway, i have (kind of) awoken to the prospect that i would like to play the Internet game again. High profit / money today - and fewer clicks by me - would be my strategy!
ha ha! that's a positive and funny way of looking at depression! I'll have to remember that the next time I'm visited by the black dog Good luck - I'm sure that you'll make it work
Hi there, 1997-2002. Founded a software tools company and was spawning new empires all over the web. What i learned was that (in business at least) we can only really rely on ourselves and that for marketers/entrepreneurs to succeed they must develop a high degree of independence. No one is going to bail you out and that whilst you may employ others to do stuff - you must never lose the ability to do it yourself.
Couldn't agree more although to really succeed you need to trust others and nurture their talent - there's always going to people with more talent than you... just remember to pay them well but don't give them a slice of the pie (paraphrased from 'How to get Rich' by Felix Dennis).
