No, not necessarily. A link is spiderable if it is on a page that is listed in the search engines, does not have a "nofollow" tag attached to it, and is in a conventional form. That means it shouldn't be a javascript link, or a redirect link that's linked to a counter, or some such.
Improve your link popularity..get quality and trusted site to link with you and with high PR so it'll help you attain your goal...
If I put a link on a site with many outbound links this will not help me a lot? Like in one directory?
First, don't worry about PR as much as how much traffic SEO generates. Thats related to filling the pipline. I assume you want traffic to generate revenue in some fashion. If you are in a saturated "neighborhood", your chances are low on getting a good PR. You might stil be able to generate traffic. You might also be better off getting Yahoo and MSN to generate traffic. I am repeating some of the above, but here is my own summary: Before you SEO --------------- A. Do your due dilligence: Know what keywords you want ranked and who your competitors are. What KW combos bring you to their sites? B. Get baseline of traffic so you know when traffic increases and why. Use a tool like AWStats or Google Analytics C. Use KWT to monitor your KW and your competitors D. Use good title tags on each page relevent to what's on each page Once Baseline Obtained ---------------------- 1. Get as many links from other ranked sites with links to your home page or some other page you want ranked. Make sure the keyword combos are relevent to the content on your page. 2. Pay for Yahoo directory if your competitors do - where are your competitors listed? 3. Observe traffic and other stats to see trending 4. Add a few pages of relevent content EVERY day 5. Add outbound link to relevent articles/pages using good keywords 5. Don't be upset if your PR does not bump quickly 6. Report your results back in this thread
