From Page #1 to Page 5 in Google Results - Why?

Can someone take a look at my site and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I just fell off search results from the #1 position to #56 for my own website's name as a phrase, which I have been number one in for 4 years. (Yesterday, it was on page 7. It moved up today.)

This is the second time in a month that this has happened.

I have a good base for links, which are legitimate and were not bought, as I was really gung ho about links when I started. I have links from a number of authority sites in my niche. I am an authority site in my niche for certain key phrases.

But, I'm listed coming in at #56 for results on key phrases where the first 5-10 results quote and link to my site.

What did I screw up and how do I fix it?

The first time this happened, I was taking a duplicate content penalty - Note: never submit articles to directories without changing them.

You ever think about duplicate content ...your website might have duplicate content and google frowns on copy cats

See what you mean. Some of the articles are still cached in certain sites.
