I have a developed site that was number one on Google for the keywords that matches my domain name but now this site is on a page far from being noticed.

The only thing that I did is go from html to wordpress, can somepne please tell me why this happened

What should I do to bring my Google position up

    Thanks

Seems like your site was punished? Do you use blackhat seo methods? buying links could cause this issue.

    thanks for the reply ReputationLinks!
no blackhat, the only thing I do is pay maximizer directory submission service.
    Isn't that o.k.?
like I said before, I switched from html to wordpress but I doubt that's the problem.

Oh! I just verified the SERPs on Bing and Yahoo and my site is:
    #5 on Bing.com
    #3 on Yahoo.com
So the problem is only on Google, what is that all about... bummer

Will need more information to be honest, before any of us could find out. I really doubt that is the problem. Unless you were ranking on a very low keyword.

    Thanks for the reply!

The keyword is $20+ and that is #5 without quotes, #1 with quotes out of over 7 million results
I once got a $3+ click when it was #1 without quotes but now the titanic sank and I need to get to the rescue boat, oh yeah and it is in the very popular advertising category

Check if it's still indicized on google, maybe the word press transfer caused something strange . Or maybe is just dancing :)

It shows up in results (SERP) so I guess it is indexed but is there any other way to check that out? dancing?

If you haven’t link building other than directory submission, I think it may be index issue. Sometime the wordpress conversion may have problems. If the Google bot can’t find your site, you will experience temporary drop in ranking.
