Congrats rgerhards....Splendid job......it shows what PR is being passed to this site. Max... are from your own blog ( rgerhards.blogspot.com ) I think...those links certainly have higher value to Google that count for it. I suggest that you should better buy some links. I mean to say that you can get a PR 6 site from a couple of decent PR 7 links.. At this stage, PR is pretty useless for ranking purposes but it will help you get reciprocal links - webmasters are generally more enthusiastic about linking to you if they get a link back from highly rank pages.... job well done! at the end of the day PR0 or 10 its the traffic that counts , unless of course you are selling your PR10 links
Mine free blog on blogger goes from PR 0 to PR3 plus one of my post got PR 5 too. I write this blog only for experiments and for my interest in SEO Field but still...just see my skills dudes
Hi, that's good advise. I am just hesitant to buy any links, because that obviously upsets google (OK, they do it themselfs, but that's a different story). I for sure will be working on that site and I think the main focus is to extend the breadth of the nice and still retain the current pagerank (if I can increase it, that would obviously be great, but a greater niche with same PR is probably well enough). Thanks, Rainer
congratulation rgerhards,, good job! it happened to my site too. my site increased from PR 0 o PR 5, but in 6 months
PR is nothing. But if you wish to get some money by abusing the "little green" marker, you in the right lane.Hunt for PR 7 next..
Congrats man My site went from PR3 to PR2 and I am working on this site from more than a year. I love google so much they love my site.
Yeah, I think that has to do with the last PR update by Google. Looks like I had lucky timing in addition to the work I did. It may also be related to something called "trust rank", which is currently being discussed on many forums. I did an early write-up on that: Google Trust Rank. Rainer
It was in the initial post, here is the link again: http://www.letspromoteit.com/2007/11/06/no-pr-to-pr-4-in-just-6-weeks/ Rainer
