From My Experience - Directory, Article, Social Bookmarking Submission Best in SEO

    Hello my lovely members:

    After trying on some methods, I only use three methods to promote my sites and will continue using them. Of course I do not make much money but I got some traffic from these methods.

    1. Directory submission
    2. Article submission
    3. Social bookmarking

    1. Directory submission
    Do not have to be old dirs, but good names (freelinks.com, dirsubmit.com), stay away from ntch.com, wmdl.info, or etc.

    2. Article submission
    Good articles directories that approve 95% of my articles.

    3. Social bookmarking
    mixx.com, digg.com, etc.

    How about your methods? Can you please share some?

    depends on how many competitors you have.
    Directory method seems to be dead.

    no directory method can't be dead at all, that's still a nice and way to create backlinks.

    I totally agree, Article and social bookmarking is the best way to get traffic and back links.
    directory submission is not dead but it can not give effective and quick result.
    blog submission and forum participation are also good for getting nice traffic.

    Methods you mentioned for traffic and promotion are nice and really very useful. Directory submission is main part of off page seo, it's very important in seo.

    In case of articles, it depends on content quality of articles and in which article directory, you are going to submit your articles. if you are getting listing from ezine or go articles, than definitely you will get more traffic, coz those articles come in ranking.

    Social Bookmarking is hottest trends in seo, it's very useful for quick traffic, specially from digg, mixx and stumble upon, these sites give more traffic.
