from adult to sfw?

I have a domain name thats had adult content on it for over two years but I have decided it would make a great domain for a web development site I have been working on.
Is this out of the question?
When it comes to search engines, waybackwhen internet archive and so on what steps could I take to make this domain innocent again?

Any advice would be most appreciated.

 

PR may decrease , SE traffic may decrease. also never put adsense on such domains as they are risky

 

i think don't use this domain it will give a negative impression on your business...........................

no problem, search engines will index new content and remove the old one. No problems there.
