Hey, I have been using Adsense for a while now and i want to move forward and make more money which I think means I should switch to an affiliate system instead of PPC. I am not confident about stopping Google ads though as I am worried I will lose money by doing it. Is there anyone here who made the move from Adsense to affiliate scheme andwould share their success or failure in doing so?
My adsense ads never really took off and I started with affiliate marketing & then tried to earn via Adsense. The earning differential was very clear. While I was making pennies with Adsense, Commission Junction and other top paying networks allowed me to make top commissions early in the start. With adsense, I just never discovered that same earning potential. The difference is that without a huge source of traffic and as a beginner, Adsense just does't seem profitable. Where alternatively, very targeted traffic can return a huge payoff with the right affiliate campaign.
