For those that have asked, in my experience, text links tend to work better than banners. This is true especially if you're writing about a topic and then at the end you say something like, "if you want more information about [topic], I recommend checking out [product link]".

Also be sure to split test. AdSense still works well in niches that are hard to target with CJ offers. It's easier to get someone to click than to buy something...

Haha yes please move to CJ. The print service I use, recently moved the affiliate program to CJ. The more people that convert to CJ, the more are lucky to send affiliate sales to my site. So I wish you all a bunch of success, so maybe there will be a mass exodus to CJ and more affiliate sales to me.

I am working on examples right now to show everyone, I will be creating a blog that way everyone can see how I do it and follow along and make some cash, you could also leave comments and request answers from me,

This thread is getting pretty long so I think thats the best way :)

    I will post it shortly.

Can anybody give statistical information. What is the persentage of commision for each sell, how much do you get each month (not the maximum, average and please write also unique hits). And I would like to learn if people are pleased with cj after taking off adsense.
    So many question huh?
    Thanks...

You know the weird thing about Google is that they have so much cold hard $$$cash$$ and they just bought the old ad network doubleclick for about 5 Billion dollars...

How much you wanna bet that they buy out CJ.com too for a few billion? Then we will have to follow the CJ/Google terms of service. LOL.

Oh, forgot to add (I hope Joe won't think im taking over his thread lol!):

You also have to take into account what type of program your promoting.

1- Leads: Sometimes you will receive commission within a couple of hours if one is completed - else it make take a week, or even a month+
2- Sales: Same as above, some are almost instant while others are longer.

You have to take into consideration the tracking cookie, and also bookmarks.

Some programs have cookies for 45+ days, so if someone bookmarks your affiliate link and decides to buy later on, you won't always see results right away.

A lot of people get discouraged if they don't see instant results (like adsense...) but don't give up, give it time - you'll see results.

Yea - sure feel free to add Buddy :)

    Good pointers as well,

Remember guys - You might not see a sale in the first 5 minutes but in the long run you will make much more money, and be laughing at the rest of these "help adsense has screwed me " threads.....
