On the website it says direct payments to bank accounts for USA, UK and Canada. Maybe checks for all other countries then.

Thanks for sharing. I think different tools work well for different instances but you certainly demonstrate an excellent example of how we should keep our options open.

I did this once and i was getting really good money for about a week or two until the returning visitors know the ads and no more leads. I dont think it will last, but you never know.

I know AdSense may not be working for everyone (content, ad placement, and traffic are critical) but I would not suggest that you switch from AdSense to affiliate programs without doing your homework.

About 3 years ago, we were generating over a million affiliate programs impressions daily. Total monthly income ~$3,000. Way too lower than our goal and cost structure.

Since then we gradually transitioned to AdSense and all I can say that is we are now in five figure montly bracket. Over the next couple of months we completely eliminated CJ, Amazon, Linkshare, etc.

I am not sure that our scenario will work for everyone but don't just react to one person's story and make the change. Try a little bit, keep testing, and then do the change. What I like about AdSense is that you get paid for every click. With CJ, people leave your website and so few of them actually buy.

Read more about what we did here.

Adsense isn't right for everyone. I have made thousands with it but affiliate earnings are still better. There was a time when adsense was good and fair. Now it has gotten to the point where it is hard to be a publisher. I shouldnt have to work my but off to keep up with ad compliance for a few pennies a click.

I am thinking of replacing some adsense with CJ but on a previous ocassion my CJ account was deleted because of "no activity".
Does this relate to sales or simply ad impressions?
Do I get over this by becoming an ebay affiliate again and getting someone to buy a 10c ebook every couple months incase of dry periods?

Hey I am very new here and don't really know whats going on, however I do have a website with Adsense links on, and in about 8 months I've only made $50. This cj.com sounds better!

Problem with CJ is they close your account with zero notification, if you don't produce any sales, or login to your account within 6-8 weeks.

Oh, and they keep your money after closing the account if it isn't at the payment threshold.

Thanks for that info. I was deactivated by CJ a few years ago for the same reason. I had money frozen in my account at the time to. grrr! Since then I've learnt a lot about marketing and have just signed up again to have another crack at it. CJ should compliment my Adsense without to much trouble. ... and so the testing begins ...

    Cheers
