From strictly a SEO standpoint (organic rankings) would you go with a net or org if the com wasn't available or some variation? For example, yourkeywordcenter.com Thanks
Have you tried yourkeyword-center.com or your-keyword-center.com or your-keywordcenter.com I'm assuming that there are are 3 words in the domain If you must choose between .Net or .Org I would go for .Net .Net is one of the original top-level domains, created in January 1985. It is often treated as a second .com. It is currently the third most popular top-level domain, after .com and .de
Idk I would go with a .org I started a health blog with a .org domain and i was able to get it to a PR3 with very minimal effort. Not only that, imho, .org's look a bit more professional.
I am unaware of the extension of a domain making any difference on SEO. Does anybody have some facts stating otherwise?
Nobody has "facts" on anything in this business. Accept maybe the google engineers... all I was saying is it was easier for me to attain a higher PR with my .org domain than my .com - maybe it was for some completely unrelated reason, maybe not.
It's actually a keyword phrase, but both versions with and without hyphens are taken, only the net or org is available. But keywordphrasecenter.com is available. Personally I've had more luck with the org then the net extension, but if I'd go that way I'd probably register both. Hmm... that's an idea, maybe I should try both ways Thanks
