It doesn't matter. Aside from country specific domain extensions, the search engines do not favor one extension over another.
If I think about SEO only then I would preffer e. g. mykeyword.org rather then mykeywordxxxx.com. But internet marketing is more then SEO
TLDs doesn't affect search engine rankings Whatever extensions you have, they have equal weight in SE. But for me, I prefer .Net over the other.
I agree with marblehost, the less words the better, each extra word dilutes the seo of your niche keywords.. focus on narrowing everything down as much as possible so you can strike hard and fast.
I'd prefer .org cos i have had positive experience with .org domains in terms of seo. I m not so sure if it was due the fact that its ".org"
