Last month I was getting an average of .60c per click, this month it's .10c. Nothing has changed, my site is computer related. The advertisers in my adblock are credible, dell.com, hp.com etc. So why am I getting such low payout per click?
O its terrible, I guess less people are using adwords because of the crunch? Meaning googles at the crunch, or google could be taking a larger percentage of the money as they need it.
I don't think it could be less advertisers because that would be 6x less, no way that is not possible in one month, I hope it's not just google taking a bigger cut, might be time to look at alternatives
If you want to know if it is smart pricing take off the ads for a while then put them back on. I did that to my site after being smart priced I started adding the adbrite ads now it's been 3 months now I started adding there ads back on slowy and getting higher clicks then before being smart priced.
Google seems to know what sites offer better conversion(sales, leads) for advertisers. So if your site seems to convert well you will receive more money.
I was asking in another post, mine is dropping from 20c to 1c CPC, nothing changed I am almost thinking of giving up on Adsense thing, earnings was 400 a month, and right now, could be 20 a month, with hours hours of work
