Thanks for sharing your strategy. You deserve to be making that much, sounds like your putting a lot of work into your sites. Congrads.
I'm now above 2000 US dollars a month. Nothing really new in my strategy, but my central blog is becoming a cash cow. Its central position in my network is helpful to gain rank in google serps and generate traffic. One new trick though: I was competing on the keywords i was thinking the best for my niche. But I'm not smart enough to guess all of them. That's where Google Trends and other publicly available stats sites may help. In Google Trend you can track your competitors just by typing the url: http://trends.google.com/websites?q=+http://forums.digitalpoint.com&geo=all&date=all&sort=0 and the 'Also searched for' section may give you some interesting keywords to compete on... Google Trends is a bonanza use it!
do you recommend putting up your Adsense ads from the start of creating the blog or after you get all your content up and rank in the SERP?
if you on the track of truth , so fantastic mAn > Genius doesn't arrange 120 blogs but you can . Share with us about traffic strategies!
I do put Adsense from the start: but my blogs do have meaningful content. And whatever the site I suggest to put adsense from the start: some users may be annoyed if you put them later. Don't be afraid of loosing first time visitors because of ads as long as you don't harass them with over-sized and ill-placed ads. (I suggest to use link units 728x15 and square ad units, if well integrated to your template those perform very well).
I was wondering what your blog count is up to now? So do you write a few meaningful articles and just let them sit without updates?
