Hi guys, everybody is saying it is easier to increase the daily revenue from $100 to $200 then to reach $100 a day in the first place. Any recommandations on how to reach that milestone now that you average $100 a day?

Hehe, after I hit $100 , next day I got $189... yet took me another 8 months to get to $200/d

Best of luck with your goal though, keep on building quality content and they will come

LMAO - I haven't implemented this tecnique yet I'd be very interested to see how it affects CTR...

    :p

I think when it comes down to it if you are making $100/day - you are obviously doing something right. So to get to $200/day is just a matter of doing more of what you are already doing right - assuming there is room to scale your operations, but even if there isn't you obviously still have the tools to diversify with success as well.

I think the only reason why getting to $100/day is so hard is because there is a lot of learning to do before you even get to $10/day really in terms of building sustainable traffic and revenue. So once you have reached that $100/day mark it is sort of like recognition of the fact that you pretty much know what you are doing therefore the only thing limiting your continued success is your own application.

So in short - just work hard and keep doing what works. Best of luck!

All things being equal, wouldn't it mean that you just need to get more traffic?

Or perhaps create another or more sites of equal quality and traffic?

I think that a fair statement. Adding content would possibly be the best option. I think this answer would best answered by those who have experienced moving form $100 to $200, though.

most of the income come from 1 site and I don't want to push it to the limit (content, link building) It is probably the most I can get from it and I don't want to jeopardize it. (the average is 120 these days though).
My best bet would probably be to reinvest in other sites.

what i did was to bring in MORE traffic and to add 300 by 250 rectangles in my sites. I, then increase the earning by more than 300% (not up to 100$ a day yet though)

I went from $100 in a day to $200 in a day in the space of 70 days. Then it took another 62 days to crack the $300 in a day mark and the ONLY ONE DAY to crack the $400 in a day mark. I'd like to think that was a fairly quick progression. And like I said it all comes down to this:

I know in my case it has purely been an issue of just doing more of what I already know works and looking to improve and refine the techniques I'm currently apply - but increasing traffic did play a part of this but I think it's more than just increasing traffic.

I now run my sites full time so I'm constantly working on them. Though one thing I have noticed I have been doing a lot more of is improve QUALITY of content and services rather than just focusing on improving my bottom line - profits. I think this is probably what is most crucial to creating "sustainable" online income in addition to helping increase your revenue.
