I am planning to have another blog and my niche will be my interest. I mean I want to blog most of my internet activities. But I am confused if I will go with .info or .com or .net well if considering .info I can save money coz it's more cheaper than .com and .net but my question is, is it going to be a wise SEO choice? What you guys think?
thank you for your advice guys but finally I go for .net coz the .com in my chosen domain name is already taken.
I would have considered another version of the name in the .dot com as you can lose traffic to the dot com using a .net but it depends on the name. Good luck!
In my case,I would definitely go with .Net exclusively for a personal site mean while I must have to own the .Com extension(I can forward or park it doh). .Com(company,communication,community..........commonsense doh) is most effective and widely used TLD,I love it ! But to be true,I prefer .Net to .Com for personal sites.(But the .com TLD must have to be owned). .info is almost nearly costs similar to .com/net,and its only cheap for the 1st year registration with discount promotional offers. So,I love more better for .com/net/ even .ws than .info,unless my plan running the site is limited to only one year. Good luck !
If I personally made a blog about my personal activities then I would go for .org honestly, or .info cause that TLD is related to these kind of activities more compared to .net or .com However, in general .com is always the preference. I just hate .net and you got that! Lol
I'm a fan of .com but also a fan of common sense which means that if you get a nice word at .net.org TLD and you have plan to develop it go for it I would not suggest .info because many spammers prefer them due to the price
.com is widely known. so it's much better if you choose .com for a domain name. almost everybody who finds a good name will prefer to register it with .com first.
The dot com is best. But the dot net is better than the dot info. I receive a lot of spam with that particular TLD (info).
