I am setting up a few blogs for friends and clients.

If i add my adsense to these sites and my clients or friends decide to click the ads will that cause a problem ?

Im just affraid of the site only getting a small amount of hits, but the people clicking the ads.

As long as you are not asking anyone to click then you should be fine. Just be careful that its not the same friends clicking over and over on your ads.

I suggest you don't take such risks.

I think there is a way to block Adsense clicks by location -- although I'm not sure about this.

If you tell them to do so and they do it every day... you have a problem.
Fraudulent clicks = problem. Genuine traffic & clicks = OK.

I used to have like a 20% CTR and I'm not banned so far (and I have insanely high CTR on the google custom search)
But it was genuine clicks !

I think Google are very good at detecting click fraud. I think that as long as you don't ask your friends/clients/... to click on the ads then you're good. The baaaad thing is to have people clicking multiple ads in a row, I think that nobody does that in a normal context.
