What will be the best URL?
    1. mydomainname.com/spain
    2. mydomainname.com/travel-spain
    3. mydomainname.com/spain-travel-guide
    4. mydomainname.com/visit-spain
    5. mydomainname.com/visit-spain-travel-guide
I think the 3rd one is the best, right?
    Thanks

Short and meaning full URL always good. Yes, Third one is best one but second and fourth also not bad. If you will put there contents related to spain travel guide then these two can also give you good response.

    Thanks, I mean this website:
    https://fantasticroutes.com
I think the best will be to use "country+travel+guide" in the URL, right?
And for big cities or capitals - "city+city+guide"
And for towns and other places - "place+travel+guide"
    Right?

I know "travel-spain" is also good but the site will have a lot of countires, so I would prefer the first word in the URL would be the country name.

I would probably be using all of these, for various pages. So there isn't a best here..

If your primary keyword is about a, Travel Guide for Spain, then that is a URL I would reserve for some of the best content.

If you are advertising to multiple countries, then consider specific content for those countries, placed in a folder named after the TLD. Example:

    /it/travel-guide
    /es/spain-travel-guide

But I would make the choice of order, based upon the exact keyword you are vying for. Rearranging the order, could result in a less traffic.

Note: Spain and Mexico uses a different TLD, even if the same language.

I can't use your suggested structure, because I will create posts about more than 150 countries.
I don't see any sense to create a special category /es, /mx, etc for each country.
My plan is to title each post by the country's name - Spain, Portugal, France, etc, but make the URL more SEO friendly.

Check these few already added countries:
My domain name doesn't have the word "travel" in it, so I prefer to use it with the country name in the URL.
I also could use all versions URL:
    • /travel-austria
    • /travel-spain
    • /travel-italy
But I think it is better to put the main anchor at the beginning.

I also could use all these versions randomly, for example:
    • /travel-austria
    • /spain-travel-guide
    • /visit-italy
But I will create a lot of posts so I would prefer to order them accordingly and have some kind of logical structure.

I am a professional SEO with experience in marketing multiple languages, and was just giving you some options about how to set this up better. While you may prefer your existing system, it isn't going to offer you the depth of ranking you could otherwise achieve by following known SEO principles. If you want the best ranking, you could even have separate domains for each language, but I have done well by marketing in TLD named folders.

Marketing to 150 countries is really casting your net wide, but hopefully you can make it work. I just have doubts that you will get many significant ranking results with such an extensive market. I mean, Google is rather fixated on giving the best results, to providers that are closest to their potential customers. When marketing hotels, your ranking starts to drop in searches that are performed just a few hundred miles away from the hotel location. So it seems to me you will be fighting the algorithm, instead of flowing with it.

But I am not going to create a multi-language site.
My website is only in English.
I just want to create a post about each country with the basic information, that's all.
And the same I will do this later for each city, so I need a fixed structure and not different domains.
By the way, I already have a bunch of domains for city and country guides apart, but in this case, I mean only FantasticRoutes.com

PS: For posts about cities, I have another URL idea, but now I am working with countries.

I am getting a clearer picture now of what you are trying to do - so probably just ignore most of what I said. My advice was related to getting the best possible SE ranking for geo-targeted locations.
In your case, you are targeting one location whether that be the UK, Canada, the US, Australia, or ALL of them, etc. But my mind thinks primarily in SEO, and ranking considerations. I think that your posted URL considerations are all good.

Thanks.. Since you are a SEO specialist, I would like to ask a couple of questions, if you don't mind to answer.

    What is better:

    Keyword+Travel.com or Keyword+Travels.com
    Keyword+Tour.com or Keyword+Tours.com
    Visit+Country.com
    Travel+Country.com
    Country+Travels.com
    Country+Travel.com
    Country+TravelGuide.com
    CityName+CityGuide.com
    CityName+City.com

I have more than 60 geo-related domains to develop, some of them are already in process, but some of them are similar, for example, Travel+CityName.com and CityName+City.com or CityName+CityGuide.com and I have no idea what to keep and what maybe try to sell.

Do you understand keyword research? You go into the actual Google database and see how many searches are performed for each combination and make a plan from there. But there isn't really a "best." There are just considerations..

I know, but anyway, must be better and worse variants.
I like to plan travel routes and create travel guides, and since I see a good still-not-registered domain, I want it.
Ok, I can't reg them all and in all variations, so I try to choose at least 1 domain from 2 or 3 still available options.

One example, I have VeracruzCity and TravelVeracruz and here I prefer to keep both domains because TravelVeracruz can be about the state and VeracruzCity is just about the capital of this state. But if I see, let's say, Keyword+Travel and Keyword+Travels what is better to develop?

Another example AcapulcoTravels and AcapulcoCityGuide, for me both are OK, but I have much more similar domains and must choose the best ones or keep them all paying renewals each year because even if I develop them all, I don't see the reason to develop apart AcapulcoTravels and AcapulcoCityGuide, because I could focus better in 1 site and not in 2 similar sites... But I have no idea which one to keep

One way to help you decide is to find out which keyword combination is the most searched phrase.

I tried to use Google Trends and AdWords but I don't understand what exactly to take attention to.
The problem is I have no idea on what exactly to base my research on, I am not native English speaking, not SEO expert, and not even a real domainer who at least could understand the domain value from any of mentioned above points.

I have no idea which one is better, if you see the last example - AcapulcoTravels and AcapulcoCityGuide - you will understand it.
Both are not premium domains and I am not a domainer to make a profit from buying and selling and buying again.
I can't, I just want to keep them all. And somehow make them at least cover their annual renewals.

"Acapulco Travels" is not a very requested combination.
"Acapulco City" and "Acapulco City Guide" also don't have good results, but "Acapulco City Guide" sounds good as a website.

All I need is to choose the right domain from a few similar ones and develop it.
If this developed website will cover my annual renewals of the rest of a few similar domains, I will keep them too. For collection.

All I want is to continue collecting domains but make them profitable, at least make them cover their annual renewals, for that I need to choose the best of a few available similar domains and focus on its development and not create 2 or 3 almost identical sites on similar domains.

Finding out how many searches are done on those related keywords will also show you how popular those phrases are, to an English speaking population.

Go to Adwords and open the Keyword Planner tool. You will then be able to insert keywords and access data to the local and global searches. You can also get a third party tool, but the Keyword Planner is free.

The best url depends on what keyword you're targeting for each article. You want to include the keyword in the Title, URL, H2 and image alt.

I prefer this kind of URL:
    mydomainname.com/en/spain/travel-guide

Additionally, Aside from English, it would be better if you had a separate page for the primary language of Spain.
    mydomainname.com/es/spain/travel-guide

I don't see any sense in using a sub-domain or sub-directory, since all these "countries" are posts on the same website, in the same language - English
