Maybe try the vBSEO package to see if you can get more traffic from google. It looks like you have a number of people who visit daily, so maybe have a competition set up to get more participation.

 

i read many forum vbseo load server and make your site slow. is that true?

 

I havent heard that before although anything is possible on a huge site. It would be worth finding out from others who have used it though as it does cost a few hundred dollars if I remember correctly.

 

one thing I always do when I start a new forum is import newsgroups using an nntp modification. (if you can filter the spam effectively) A lot of this content will get indexed by search engines, and could spark some discussion on your forums. With the gateway hack I use, users can reply right on the forums, which posts a link to the thread and forum in the newsgroup.

Very few of our customers have had significant problems with performance. However, if your forum is already experiencing a high load, it could cause further impact.

For forums that do experience higher than normal loads, we do have performance optimizations available.

 

I used it on couple of sites but never had a speed issue.

also one question why don't vbulletin.org use VBSEO?

 

Have you checked the date of thread and what version was it then, we can't rely on that information.

 

Most of the people you'll find participating in old threads like those have long since purchased their own copy of vBSEO for their forums, including admin level members of vbulletin.org.
