As some of you already knew, I have been struggling on google with 30 positions ban for no reason, I need to recreate my traffic in other ways and build up my member database for my dating site. Something came up to my mind. My site is free for women and 3 days free trial for men. After that period male members can pay monthly or credit based. What I want to introduce is add an option on the payment page, for example: Refer 5 friends of yours and get 5 credits or Refer your friends and get credit for each and everyone of them who signs up. It seems to be good viral marketing, but what worries me is the amount of spam I will receive and if it's a really good idea to build up on. Plz contribute with your ideas or recommendations. I think you are just going to need really good form validation and a CAPTCHA code to prevent automated sign ups. Plus have a thing where the referred friend has to be active for at least 10 days before the referrer gets the credits.
Wow thanks, thats a cool idea about activity of the referral, I can implement that. Automated signups will not be an issue as it cannot pass through authentication, even cannot pass signup page which consists of hidden panels with dozens of validations
