    Before people get too out of sort with this: as long as the code that actually gets generated into the HTML file is code that can be generated from your AdSense console, you're OK. After all, when Google visits your site to monitor for code violations (and they do this randomly) they don't necessarily know that you're generating the code. All they see is what's in the HTML file. If you do it right, it won't be any different than what comes out of the console.

    This only applies to server-side scripting, of course. The code that comes down to the browser must exactly match what comes out of the console.

    but if it's done through PHPAdsnew and generated through an iFrame apparently it's OK too............i emailed them about this

    Its an ad management system that allows you to enter advertisers through a control panel, specify number of impressions, frequency, length of ad etc.

    Its also free ;)

    Basically what everyone is saying is if you are not sure, just use the AdSense console.

    If you're not using the console and you're not sure, e-mail Google your script BEFORE using it and save their response.

    If you're not using the console and you're not asking Google, don't stake your income on different opinions!
