It's the same wherever you work. People just want to get away from the office so they can start their weekend. Productivity is not good on Fridays. They have done research that suggests that most "lemons"(defective cars or trucks) are produced on Friday afternoon shifts at car plants.
Huh! I thought so - I can see everyone running around like a headless chicken - maybe Friday should only be until like 3 pm...
Oh we don't worry about you on Fridays. It's Mondays we are concerned about. You see we know that the "mmm" in your username stands for: Monday Morning Madness
Cause everybody is trying to get stuff done so they can enjoy the weekend? And not have a crap load of stuff left for Monday, lol.
Well people look forward to Fridays and they got plans. They have to be in a hurry to leave the office.
Still - like how is it different then Thursday ? I mean you are rushing to get out of the office and start your social time - so its the same
Ummm, not really. On Thursday night you still have to pack it in early as you would have to get up early to go to work Friday morning. Conversly that isn't an issue on Friday night as you have the weekend off. So people are far more motivated to get out of the office Friday p.m.,as they can stay out all night to 3 or 4 p.m. if they are of a mind to.
I live for "the week"... when everyone is at work and I can have the place/world to myself There's a reservoir about 10 mins drive from here that I fly my RC planes at. Sometimes I forget what day it is, end up there on a Saturday, and it's like the gates of hell have been opened - all these people squeezing in as much yelling and jetskiing and donuting and BBQing and boganing into their 48 hour leisure window as they can. Then at about 6pm on a Sunday, it all goes back to normal.
That is a bit sad if you say most people hate their job. I dont hate mine at all - yes I am excited to get out of the office after a long day - but like, thats about it..
I'd love to own a RC plane. Even those cheapo electric ones you can get would be heaps of fun. Where I live must be a route for the helis I used to see them fly past all the time but from a distance it can be tough knowing if it's a real one or not. I used to live for the weekend, but I hear exactly what your saying.
And now we go WAY off topic .... Assuming you're talking about toyshop planes... Never ever ever buy an RC plane from a toy store. NEVER. You can build and fly a ridiculously good "cheapo electric" for easily under $300 (including EVERYTHING), and go absolutely NUTS for WELL under $1000. IF YOU BUILD IT YOURSELF. HobbyKing.com is a good place to get an idea of how insanely affordable RC has become in the last 10 years. --- You've already taken the hook. Now suck up the line and sinker
Yeah... as for me the best way to relax is to watch smth about wandering and having good time... i enjoy everything connected with interesting things such as scientific discoveries and so on. so it's my hobby. if you would find some time for your hobby as well every day, life wouldn't be for you colorless and boring i think
Not a chance. The reason I stopped playing with RC cars was because it was such an expensive hobby. I'd imagine RC planes would be even more expensive. I wasn't stupid enough to get a petrol car though, every person I knew who had one had troubles with theirs.
Planes have a LOT LESS stuff going on that cars do. No brakes, no gears, no suspension, no tires. Planes touch nothing but air (and occasionally the ground) - so there's nothing to wear out. $300 isn't a lot to pay for an electric RC plane + transmitter + batteries + charger - at least compared to what it used to cost 5-10 years ago. Electric is the way to go (for cars and planes)... Only bogans use "nitro".
Yeah thinking about it more I can see how cars would be a lot more expensive to maintain. The thing about them though is you'd want to always upgrade different parts. If there was a new and faster engine you have to have it. Then I started getting into racing them and you'd be guaranteed to break something every race meet. I'd get back into it in a second though, was awesome fun.
