Fresh Start SEO

    I've re-written most of my site to be as user-friendly, and (I think) SEO-friendly, content wise as possible.

    Now I'm looking at what steps to take to start optimising the site, Google analytics, wordpress plugins, titles, tags, the lot.

    SEO is probably my weakest point and it's obviously key for me, so I need all the help I can get.

    If so, you need meta tags.

    Meta tags go like this, directly under the
    <head>
    Code (markup):
    :
    <meta name="title" content="the title that'll be at the top of the browser">
    <meta name="description" content="describe your site here, this is what will show up on google etc. include a main keyword">
    <meta name="keywords" content="keyword, keyword, keyword, keyword, keyword">
    Code (markup):

    If SEO is your weakest point why not outsource it. SEO requires a lot of time and would take even longer if you are new. Anyway What is your site?

    I think this plugin would help you: it's exactly what you're looking for. I'm just trying to find a date on it because it may be outdated. I'd give it a go.

    I've been told "all in one SEO" plugin as well, one of my clients has the yoast plugin, I'm not sure which one is better though?

    I would say that don't make it too complicated.. go according to the theme/template you use, no much customization and work on content development, giving benefit to your users, this is the way to get success today.

    Content is what I meant by "Re-written", not the code.
