what do you think... how should I update my website content?! I just recived a new content... should I update all the text, or it will better if I will just update little by little. Like even just a few phrases every day. I am asking you this because search engines likes fresh content... so ... what do you think?! *** I want to update my text very soon , so even if I will do an line by line update, i want to end it up with it in 1 week!
i dont think refreshing it little by little will help, seems that the bots dont visit quite that often
I think you should update your content in a way that's useful to your visitors - and just adding a few phrases probably won't get that done. Unless your topic is very difficult to find and/or write content for, you should have plenty of opportunities to update your content again in the future. HTH, Sam
Every little bit helps, Only adding/changing one phrase or so isn't going to make any significant changes overnight. Long-term though as you add more content, you will begin to notice changes.
Adding fresh content regularly helps. Having said that, each update of new content in itself should be relevant. A tweak to a phrase or addition of a new phrase, like gommer683 says, won't help you much.
quick question, what about changing the order of your information on the page, would this make a diffrence to the SE? eg: My Favorite Fruit - Apples - Oranges - Bananas Change to: - Oranges - Bananas - Apples Or are the SE smart enough to figure this out ?
Please. That's not going to make any difference to the search engines, nor should it. The only time that will matter is if the information is at the very top of the page, or if it's a list of hyperlinks. And even then, very little impact, especially to your Web site.
Since the SEs basic priorities are to provide value to those who use them for searches, your best approach is to focus on making changes to your site that will help your visitors. If the changes don't help your visitors (or improve their experience in some way), it's unlikely that they'll help you with the SEs, either. Sam
