Fresh beginning :)

OK, I want to start a website, to make money. Now this is what I got ;

- 2 Years of hosting [ 1TB space, 20TB bandwidth ]
- Money for a domain.
- Photoshop and xHTML/CSS coding skills. [ I do NOT need a coder and/or designer ]

So I pretty much don't got anything. What is the best and fastest way to make money with a website ? I have 12 hours a day to spend on the project, and I am willing to put a LOT of effort in it.

Please throw me some suggestions, tips and feedback. Help would be GREATLY appreciated !

 

1- Buy a domain
2- install wordpress blog
3- write photoshop tutorials
4- submit them to tutorials index sites to get traffic
5- add adsense in your blog
6- start earning

www.xbr-tutorials.com

Is that a good domain-name ?

Why dont you offer designs and coding of designs on dp. You can do say a couple discounted to build up a portfolio and then sell your services on dp etc.

You could also make a free template site with some of your skills and sell sponsorship links in the signature to make revenue from too.

Yes, that seems like a good idea.
Just a suggestion - dont use hyphens in the domain name.
Try to keep it short(words like xbr dont help either).

"What is the best and fastest way to make money with a website ?" if you think like this i can asure you you won't get far and fast

Start a website of something you know and are good at

Build it yourself since you have the skills and then start promoting (pay somebody or start learning seo)

 

I once have submitted a tutorial to Pixel2Life. The site had over 3000 visitors in one day, because the tutorials was a 'tutorial of the week'. If I do this, I will get quite a lot traffic !

Once I have fairly good traffic I will start using adsense etc.

I need some ideas for a domain, I kinda finished my logo but the name is missing. I already made a slogan though -- ' Where art meats simplicity '

 

I wouldnt suggest posting a domain name you're considering buying - someone else might agree that its a good name and get in there first!!

 

I don't think someone would actually buy xbr-tutorials.com

 

Perhaps a better slogan would be "Where art meets simplicity".
