Updates register on google. One small daily update is better than a huge lot on one day. Google seems to like change and promotes it.

 

isnt this sort of common sense? doesnt everyone know that you need content to be found? which can *possibly" improve your chances of success?

 

You'd think; though most people seem to create a site, update it once and leave it.

Updating your website with new content only helps search engines to find "fresh" content when they crawl your site.

The more fresh content they find the more happy they will be and rank your site better than those sites that don't get updated often.

I agree. At first my only goal was to write new blog posts two times a day. I didn't think much about quality content, and not about networking. It didn't help much, it's just one part of a strategy
