No you did not get the point... you should not change the idex page or any other page just add new pages... like articles your product review pages and pages similar to your business content...

    I don't agree with that.

The best is to add new pages, and update your homepage frequnetly (maybe with links/short descriptions to your new pages)

This way your pages will get indexed faster, and the bots will visit your site more frequently.

Keep adding fresh content to your pages maybe by including RSS news/product feeds if you want to automate it.

Don't just create pages for the sake of it. Make sure all your pages are strong otherwise it won't help you at all.

Google loves fresh content, as for example blogs. Some tests in some SEO contest have demonstrated it. I recommend you to have a home, with some little news at least. this way Google is going to update your site more frequently. about this links or PR does not matter at all.

What if that fresh content is sitewide?~! like if I am adding a news box in my website template, and spreeding it all over the page?!
