French presidential election

    Hello,

    As I live in France I feel obligated to post a topic about it :D

    85,4% have voted which is the best percentage we had under this republic

    Nicolas Sarkozy - 29,4%
    Ségolène Royal - 26,2%

    Second round is on the 6th may.

    François Bayrou - 18,6%
    Jean-Marie Le Pen - 10,8%

    I don't like Sarkozy neither Royal but I can't vote anyway because I'm not a french citizen.

    Sarkozy is the one.

    By the way, here is an update of the figures:
    Sarkozy : 31,11%
    Royal : 25,84%
    Bayrou : 18,55%
    Le Pen : 10,51%

    As far as i know, i don't like Sarkozy, he uses our name in an inaffirmative manner within his campaign, however he will be elected in the 2nd round almost for sure.

    I don't like sarkozy either he approaches the ideas of bush (more money into army, .... and some other crap)

    But I don't really like Royal either lol

    I don't like Sarkozy either. He is arrogant, insulting to minorities, and anti-immigrant.
    But again, I am not surprised that most french people voted for him.
    I really hope he looses. The last thing France needs is a Bush wanna-be.

    I have not been following the election over in France so i didn't have an opinion about it, but when i saw certain people in this thread say Sarkozy was bad i knew he's the best choice:p
