Freeware Directory Submission Tool

    Hi People,

I've just release a beta of a free, semi-automatic directory submission tool called SliQ Submitter.

The tool is totally free and currently handles about 450 directories which have all been checked to make sure they work. The tool automatically completes fields in directory submission forms - with the exception of the CAPTCHA fields.

You can specify up to 5 titles and descriptions and up to 6 categories to try and match when submitting.

I'll be adding more directories in a future release if people find the tool useful. Feel free to download the tool from:

    http://www.sliqtools.co.uk/downloads/directory-submission-tool.aspx

and provide me with feedback and suggestions.

    Thanks.

That sounds great! How do you plan on making money with the tool? I ask because if you always just give it away at sometime you will lose interest and not update the directory lists. I just don't want to get started with a tool and then have to keep switching.

If people do find it useful, I may begin charging at some point. I created it so I could use it myself but felt it could be useful to others. Adding new directories takes only a short time.

I've just made a new release of my free directory submission software at http://www.sliqtools.co.uk/directory-submission-tool.aspx.

It now supports 2100 directories and has better matching of categories. I've tested about 800 of the 2100 directories. The vast majority accept free, non-reciprocal listings.

Feel free to download and try it out.

I've now made a new release of SliQ Submitter. The new version tries to learn the category selections on the directory submit pages rather than requiring you to type the categories in beforehand. Thishas made it easier and quicker to submit to directories.

SliQ Submitter is a semi-automatic directory submission tool. You still have to manually verify categories, titles and descriptions and so on. It just makes the whole process of submission much quicker. When you load a directory submit page, SliQ Submitter fills in the fields for you so you don't have to copy and paste.

How manual is manual? For example, do you type in the description by hand each time when you submit to a directory or do you save them in a Word document and copy and paste?

I am always in a search for a GOOD PROFESSIONAL directory submitter

While the softie has A GREAT category SELECTOR and good potential

here is my suggestions for improvement

    1. being able to EASILY add / delete directories (many of you directories are already PAID, how does one delete them ???)

    2. TABBED submission in order to be able to save time

    3. more options NOT only visited (submitted, skipped, unavailable etc)

    4. more titles/description should be allowed

    5. some basic directory database manipulation/sorting (more fields, category of directory etc)

    6. shortcuts (reconfigurable if possible) for doing repetitive tasks FAST

if you make all these improvement I personally would be willing to pay for it
since I am very impressed with the CATEGORY SELECTOR (have not seen it anywhere)

I d be glad to test any new version that you release !! Please contact me !!

    Thanks
