Freelancing press release?

I have no intentions of writing my press release, so I have been browsing around checking out the prices of PR networks that also write them. The prices are terribly high, I haven't found one that charges less than 200 bucks, and some even want $400 just to write it. I would rather use that kind of money for advertising.

At the freelance sites it seems you can get a PR done for less than $30. Has anyone used a freelancer for this? Some of them even submit the PR to all kind of free networks, so it seems like a good deal. What do you think?

I cant believe you didn't consider a freelancer as your first option! They do an incredible good job and for under 15$ you can get a very good press release.

Yeah, after seing the crazy prices the PR release sites charge for writing I looked for other options and I am getting bids of 30 bucks by people that have lots of experience writing press releases, and they will also submit them to all kind of networks.

Looks like I will be saving some nice money :D
