I was just curious how http://freelanceworkexhange.com compared to http://guru.com or some of the other freelance sites around.

Has anyone had any experience with this site good or bad that they could share with me?

    Thanks in advance,
    Danae

I just realized that I misspelled that. It's supposed to be

    http://freelanceworkexchange.com

Next time I should proofread and realize that I missed the 'c'

No experience, but seems like it would be hard to find positions since they only allow you to search, but don't allow you to browse.

I gave them a shot a while back and thought they were pretty useless actually. Haven't tried Guru.com. What kind of work are you looking for? If it's writing, avoid both... you can find enormously more (and better paying gigs) by steering clear of "freelance marketplace" types of sites generally. if you're looking for design, coding, or other tech-related work, maybe some other members will be able to point you to the best for the niche you want.
