So I have decided to do a little bit of freelance development again I plan to launch a new site and market it online etc. I am back and fourth between two countries as I have two properties, would it be worth while from and SEO perspective to build two sites with local domains and produce content for both of them to pick up more traction and client enquiries. I know all links pointing to a single domain is of course always the preferred way but in this instance would you agree this may be a good solution to doing business in two countries rather than one? Thanks
Ideally what I'd really like to do is test the site on two different local country domains and see which supplies me the most leads and conversions. I know I'd probably have some kind of duplicate content issues though and both may be penalised. Is there any way to safely do this?
Heh, yeah.. me as well actually. At the end of the day I tend to agree with the notion that it simply helps google hurl out the correct result. I simply don't think this is a duplicate content issue. It does pose some interesting thoughts on intrinsic and extrinsic search queries though! See the following... full blown nerdgasm here http://moz.com/blog/the-future-of-user-behavior-whiteboard-friday I would suggest freeing up the time to watch all of the white board Fridays actually. I have been telling folks around here the same things for 7 years. It frankly makes me a tad crazy. For the sake of discussion read this as well http://searchenginewatch.com/articl...Link-Building-Guidelines-to-Keep-Safe-in-2014 I can find posts from several years ago espousing the exact same notions. If you do things right, nothing really changes much. But I digress. Nigel
I'm a big whiteboard Friday fan! Have seen several of their vids thanks for the links I will check them out for sure!
