Does anyone know if there are contract advertising/marketing jobs out there and how to get them? What I am thinking of is along the lines of coming up with ideas for advertising/ad agencies with projects that they working on. I am a very creative and innovative person and I really love seeing great ads of all forms (posters, commercials, radio, etc.). I always come up with different ad ideas that I think would really fly. I would love a gig where I can assist agencies work on current projects and sell my ideas to them and get paid for it. I would work as a freelancer/contractor. Does anyone know of any such gigs?!?

    My appreciations in advance. :)

It sounds like what you want to do is be a freelance creative director. Any of the big advertising agencies use many contractors, though creative directors seem to be in-house more than not.

I'd recommend contacting the HR departments for some agencies to find out what they're looking for.
