Hi everyone, recently I decided that I was sick of my 9 to 5 and needed more money as they were not paying me enough so I decided to leave my graphic design job at a local newspaper and freelance from home doing Landing page and Wordpress design and coding full time. Embarking on this kind of endeavor is a little bit scary as I do not have steady income coming in anymore, but with a little effort i can turn my passion into something tangible. So with that in mind (lol) I would like to offer my services to Digital Point members for the creation of Landing Pages, Custom Designed Wordpress Themes, PSD To XHTML and PSD To Wordpress conversions. What do I have to offer? A.) Landing Page Design: $25.00 Single Page LP & $45 Multiple Page LP I will take on 10 pages at a time - once those slots are full I will not accept anymore work until a slot opens. Sorry for this, but I've seen designers in the past get in over their head and something like this can and will negatively affect customers. I'm not going to make that same mistake. These prices are subject to change at any time. What exactly do I need from you? A few examples of what you are looking for. (Screen shots not links. The more the better.) Graphics to be included in LP (I will not search for images nor will purchase images to be used in your LP...but I can show you where to get them if you need some help) Any forms you may use in the LP (I will place the forms into the LP for you and style everything) Any text you want flowed into the LP (I do not check for errors - what you send gets put in so make sure its correct) Possible color combinations you are interested in. (a good resource for matching colors: Color Combos) Here are some examples of concept Landing Pages I have created (They are also available for purchase for $25.00 each and I will customize them to fit your needs. If interested just PM me): Turn around time on LPs will normally be 48hrs to 72hrs depending on volume, quicker if possible. B.) PSD To XHTML & PSD To Wordpress conversions: $35.00 I take your PSD, JPG, GIF, PNG or AI file and turn it into a cross browser friendly W3C valid XHTML / CSS markup template. These prices are subject to change. What do you get with this service? For PSD to XHTML (static css site) you will get a detailed style sheet for easy modification. Corresponding pages to match your menu bar (maximum of 5). If you have 5 links, you get five pages. You also get one template page so you can create any additional pages in the future. For PSD to XHTML to Wordpress you get a basic Wordpress theme (I do not do any special coding. I am a designer not a programmer) This includes a detailed style sheet for easy modification, widgetized sidebar and a template page so you can create custom pages and category layouts. I will design the template, slice and code for WP but undertsand this will be a BASIC WP theme. What do i mean by basic? I am a designer not a coder and i am sure you can find a coder to add that special functionality your looking for. He gave me a negative feedback, I wasn't even involved in a project with him. We talked on AIM that's it and I simply sent him the files for a quote, no payment was exchanged, no agreements were made.
this is not true, be honest and tell everyone how you treated me, I msged you on AIM and said I could do the project for you, you said you would not send payment until the work was done because the other designers you had spoken with had bailed on you and that if I did this one good then you would send me more work. I said fine. So you sent me 4 psd files, told me not to slice and code the one named homepage.psd, I said ok and then I went to make some coffee and when I came back 5 min later there were some messages asking me "are you there?" do you want to do it? hello? are you interested? I msgd back saying yes I was and that I was about to start. you said Ok. About 25 min later you start messaging me if I had a page done yet and I said i was setting up the styling for the pages and you said "Wow are you sure you know what your doing? you've had this for 20 min and you don't even have it sliced up yet?" I then told you to let me do what I do best and then I asked if you wanted it done properly and you stated you didn't need the attitude, so I said I didn't either and thats when you said you would find someone else. Then you said its people like me that make your days bad and Then you said if you were where I was you would find me and come kick my ass, then you asked for my address and I gave it to you and you said "See you soon" and then you signed off AIM. This is why I gave you negative feedback. Now your in here spamming all of my posts telling everyone negative things and telling me i am going to get banned and so on. And I haven't even said one thing to you since you signed off AIM. Nice!
Ok I don't post on here very much (even though I've been around here a long time), but I saw this and it pissed me off. tsquez has done coding for me before and he's always done a GREAT JOB. He's went above and beyond every time and is worth way more than what I pay him. He gets it done quick and he's always available on instant messenger. He's not young either, he's an old fart haha BTW tsquez learn how to use paragraphs. Your last post gave me a headache.
