    I have been using the freekeywords.wordtracker.com tool to get keywords, but have a question. Are the searches per day, week or month?

    It's per day but you will notice that A LOT of them are without any actual traffic. That's because wordtracker uses approximations for the results.

    So use the gtrends tool http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/gtrends/ to determine the actual traffic in google.
