Which one is more effective to use- freekeyword.wordtracker or google keyword tool? they seem to provide different data.
Hit and miss with the free wordtracker tool. Since Google published numbers instead of bar graphs, I'm leaning more towards that tool.
before i used google to learn and start up now im with samurai market its more effective i think in term of keyword work Just a pic i keep to show Pic
Hello all, my question is this then. For keyword "internet marketing techniques" wordtracker shows 3 searches per day which you can estimate to 90 per month BUT, when you use googles free keyword tool "internet marketing techniques" analyzed with exact match results estimates 49,500 for search volume last month Do you see my confusion?!? Is it 90 or 49,500!!! this is a huge gap and needs explaining especially because i'm trying to optimize my blog http://www.internetmarketingtechniques.info for that keyword phrase
I'm more inclined to believe the google tool. Searching for 'stock market trading' using free keywords only nets 34 searches per day. Which I find incredibly hard to believe considering how popular stock market trading is in the real world.
I use wordtracker and adwords toll and than use mixed results for keywords . which provide me good results and some money via adsense too .
Google tool officially seems bogus to me now... I ran a test with google adwords using ppc and got myself within the top 10 sponsored ad positions on average for keyword phrase "internet marketing techniques" So far over the past few days i have gotten about 14 impressions, and half are probably from my own searches, lol Nothing near the estimated monthly exact match search volume of 49,500 that the adwords keyword tool estimates. Google Sucks my findings agree with the search estimates of wordtracker and seobook...
Darinblue, you shouldnt badmouth what you shouldnt understand.... If you are doing PPC campaign, you should use the Google Traffic estimator which uses PPC campaign research. Little tip for ya, do your research before making judgements.
I appreciate the reply even if it was provoked The traffic estimator appears to give a good rule of thumb, but that still doesn't explain the seemingly skewed results of the adword tool. My purposes are for ranking organically and not ppc. I have been doing research in order to find a popular yet targeted keyword to organically rank for to promote my business. The point of my research is to generate "FREE" traffic for myself and knowing where to do it prior to investing
Google Traffic estimator uses PPC click throughs, Google Adwords uses natural search engine results, and be sure when you use the Google adwords tool, to enter the correct geographic range. As a rule of thumb, natural listings get 70% of SE traffic and PPC 30%...But this ratio can differ depending on numerous factors.
